Q: Can we just turn up?
A: Yes. Although some classes are now at or close to capacity, so it is advised to contact Kelly before hand to check that there are places available in your desired class. You can contact Kelly via the contact form or email: firstname.lastname@example.org

Q: What should my child wear?
A: We have a uniform that is available to purchase. Uniform is desirable for class and compulsory for all performances and events. For the first 4 weeks of class it is acceptable to wear a t-shirt with leggings or shorts and plimsolls or trainers.
Q: Can parents stay?
A: Yes. There is seating available and parents may stay - especially if your child is young. However, we ask that you sit and wait quietly and do not interrupt the class.
Q: Do classes continue to run during school holidays?
A: Yes. Classes run every week of the year unless specified, with the exception of christmas and bank holidays. There are sometimes additional holidays that parents are notified of well in advance.
Q: Are the teachers qualified?
A: Yes. Kelly is a qualified dance teacher with the IDTA and a qualified cheerleading, cheer stunts and gymnastics tumbling coach with the UKCA. Kelly is also DBS checked and first aid trained.
Q: How do we pay for classes?
A: Classes are payable monthly via cash or bank transfer on the first class of the month. For missed classes a credit is issued and the credit can be used against another class within a 2 week period.
Q: Does my child have to do exams?
A: No. A child is never forced to take dance and cheerleading exams, although they are actively encouraged to. Exams are a great way to see and monitor progress and recognise achievements. They give the children a great sense of accomplishment and can be a real confidence booster.
Q: Do you do shows, festivals and competitions?
A: Shows = Yes.
We have an annual show at the theatre and the children love that they get to be stars on the big stage!
Festivals = Yes. We attend local festivals and events during the summer. Small, local performances are so much fun and help to build and develop confidence and prepare the children for our big show at the end of the year.
Competitions = Not currently. However, a competitive dance team and a competitive cheer team is on the cards for the future. So watch this space!
